What our content is
Glass & Ridge publishes editorial opinion and factual research about hunting optics. Our recommendations are built from published manufacturer specifications, optical arithmetic we compute ourselves, and documented expert and owner consensus, as described on how we review.
It is information, not professional advice. Equipment choices are yours. We describe what specifications say and what the arithmetic implies; whether a given optic suits your hunting is a judgment only you can make.
Specifications and accuracy
We read specifications off manufacturers' own pages and print the date we read them. Manufacturers revise specifications, discontinue models and change packaging without notice, so a figure can become out of date between our reading it and your reading us. Always check the current specification with the manufacturer or retailer before buying, particularly for anything where fit or compatibility matters.
If you find an error, tell us - we correct them and the correction policy is published in our editorial policy.
Prices
Prices shown on this site come from a live retailer API and carry the date they were last checked. They change constantly and we do not control them. The price at the retailer when you click through is the price that applies. We make no representation that a price shown here is still current, and where our price data is stale the site shows no price at all rather than an old one.
