Product photographs

Every photograph of a binocular, rangefinder, spotting scope, monocular, harness or tripod on this site is served from Amazon's own content delivery network via the Amazon Creators API, under the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. They are hotlinked rather than copied onto our servers, which is what that program requires, and each one appears only beside a link to that product on Amazon.

We do not photograph products ourselves, and we never present a stock photograph as a product we own. Our methodology page explains why.

Landscape and context photographs

The hero and section photographs are licensed landscape and hunting-context images from Wikimedia Commons. They are illustrative - they show the kind of country these optics are used in. None of them depicts Glass & Ridge, its author, or any person connected with this site, and none is presented as doing so.

Most are public-domain works of US federal agencies - the Bureau of Land Management, the US Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Park Service - which require no attribution. 3 images are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license, which does require credit; that credit is below.
